Java Backend Developer
This position is an Interns engineer of eBay Data Services China Engineering Team. He/She will be responsible for backend application development. The vision is to build effective “ Personalization as a Service” eco-system including end-end data pipeline, data quality and self-service toolings to deliver Customer Wins. For example, the real-time Personalization Platform, Self Service Application for users to play with systems to deliver Personalization use case, Location Based Service Platform, Data ETL pipeline.  He/she will very closely work with US team to deliver large-scale data solution or major sub-system..

Requirements:
·        Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
·        Excellent problem solving skills, can triage and resolve critical tech issues without supervision.
·        Expertise required in object-oriented design methodology and application development in Java and J2EE, including Spring, Hibernate, AJAX, jQuery, servlets, JSP, Java Beans, JDBC. Knowledge of XML, XSL, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML is a plus.
·        Expertise required in large scale distributed system design or big data processing applications design. Knowledge of Hadoop/HBase is a BIG plus
·        Familiar with big data related skills.
·        Experience of SEM, SEO is preferred;
·        Experience of big data processing is preferred;
